ASHADHI EKADASHI - 2019
Like every year, Our college has celebrated Ashadhi ekadashi
on 12th July 2019 at 8:30 a.m. Ashadi Ekadashi comes with the
spiritual culture … this is the day, when lakhs and lakhs of Varkaris from all
parts of the country, especially from the state of Maharashtra and Karnataka
throng the spiritual capital of the state, Pandarpur to have darshan and
blessings of their chosen deity Vittal Rakumai.
Our college has arranged Dindi yatra after the prayers of
lord vitthal and the subsequent arrival of our women ‘Varkaris’ dancing in
atmosphere with divine vibrations. This year our college is celebrating its 10th
year of successful journey; Students have actively participated in the
celebration of Ashadhi Ekadashi and Dindi yatra by creating awareness about
women empowerment, their status in society, women’s issues by using posters and
slogans in nearby vicinity of the college.
The programme clearly depicted the modern women’s confused
mindset to choose the right path to attain Godhood. Prasad was distributed and
Mangal Aarati was offered to lord vitthal in the end. All teaching and non-
teaching staff members made this event successful by putting their endless
efforts. It was important activity for our every girl student to realize their
value and importance in society.
